Aloha Surf School is a unique surf destination nestled between The Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark, offering lessons for all skill levels on one of Ireland’s most stunning beaches.

Just a stone’s throw from the popular surfing spot Lahinch, Aloha Surf School aimed to distinguish itself from the competition with a refreshed design.

The new site needed to be responsive, hardworking, and optimised to attract visitors, as most customers come through word of mouth or their website. Ensuring it welcomed visitors and facilitated easy bookings was crucial.

Working within their existing branding guidelines, we crafted a UX/UI that elevates the brand’s overall look and feel while providing a seamless, user-friendly experience.

Visually Dynamic Design

Aloha Surf School boasts an incredible USP: unbeatable views in one of Co. Clare’s most desirable locations. To highlight this, we crafted a visually dynamic design that showcases both the thrill of the lessons and the breathtaking landscapes customers will experience. We focused on striking visuals and kept copy to a minimum to let the scenery and adventure speak for themselves.

Enhanced Branding

With distinguished branding already in place, we drew inspiration from the logo and utilised its colours to enhance the aesthetic and reinforce the brand identity throughout the design. We introduced a script font for the section headings, which paired beautifully with the Sans Serif body font, adding a sense of excitement and cohesion across the pages.

Seamless Booking System

To boost business and leads for Aloha Surf School, we prioritised incorporating a smooth booking system that allows visitors to easily check availability and book sessions. We integrated Fareharbor, an all-in-one booking solution and business management platform. This system provides visitors with a seamless booking experience while enabling clients to effortlessly manage bookings on the backend.

Optimised for Speed & SEO

The WordPress website is excelling in technical performance, scoring 100/100 for SEO and 98/100 for both performance and accessibility. Core Web Vitals play a pivotal role in boosting conversions and improving website rankings—Google prioritises sites with top-notch technical standards. Responsiveness also elevates the user experience too, enabling seamless access to information so they can book with ease and speed.

Integrated Digital Ecosystem

To unify Aloha Surf School’s digital presence, we integrated their Instagram feed and TripAdvisor testimonials into the website. This enhancement allows users to easily access reviews and view the latest social media updates, enriching their experience. Additionally, it adds a modern touch to the website, keeping it dynamic and engaging.
