The Brief.

Fat Bike Galway is an electric fat bike tour company based in Galway, Ireland, offering hassle-free and scenic adventures through the breathtaking Connemara region, with transport included.

The main objective was to modernise their digital presence and provide an engaging preview of their bike tours before visitors could book. To achieve this, optimising the website for search engines and mobile use was crucial to enhance usability and performance.

Ultimately, the adventure tourism business aimed to create a website that clearly presented their brand, personality, unique services, and the thrilling experience they offer. The website needed to provide a concise and vivid depiction of the tour, the route, and the captivating beauty of the Galway area.

We were given full creative control to enhance their branding and create a whole new logo.

The Approach.

Revitalised Branding

To ensure visitors immediately recognised the brand through its visual design, we created a fresh and modern logo that could also be used as a sticker. We retained the original brand colours to preserve its history and heritage. The logo was vectorised to include elements such as the bike, the Connemara mountains, and the Wild Atlantic Way mark. We also added trees and birds to reflect the tour’s natural surroundings. Our goal was to give the brand a personal touch, making it unique and distinctly local.

Efficient Structure

For Fat Bike Galway, we crafted a website that is compact yet highly efficient in terms of structure and content. Every element on the site was meticulously planned to ensure visitors could quickly find the information they needed without feeling overwhelmed. This minimalist approach not only improved user experience but also enhanced site performance, making it faster to load and navigate.

Each section of the website is designed to transport visitors to the scenic landscapes of Connemara, offering a glimpse into the adventure that awaits. This immersive approach not only entices potential customers but also reinforces the unique value proposition of Fat Bike Galway’s tours.

How we did?

What the client says.

Webbiz were awarded the project to provide my business Fat Bike Galway with a new website and logo. I chose very carefully from the many providers and following each of their presentations it was Webbiz who illustrated exactly what I was looking for. I dealt with many team members throughout the project who were all extremely professional but spent most correspondence with Julie who went above and beyond with all her work showing great patience too.

I am delighted with the end result and very proud of my website and logo. A huge thank you to Niamh and the Webbiz team.
